Bruce, you do not need a motorhome to belong to cmca. Only need to have an interest in motorhoming. One of the directors has no motorhome.
That said, if it was not for the insurance i wouldn't bother with membership. I doubt the new forum will last very long due to heavy handed moderation .
AND they're using Instant Forum...so they are moving away from their web base.

They have put the old forum information up on a joomla forum and locked it.
They have then established a second forum, using different software which I feel may be unfamiliar to regular users of other forums
