I have this on my gmail in box any idea's ,I haven't opened it as yet . As I don't pay tax I don't think I would get a refund from the ATO ?

Yup lots of them about, the Australia Post ones are getting very professional, scammers have finally learnt how to spell !!

Be very careful of the Aust Post one, it comes complete with an Aust Post red and white trademark making it look very official. Aust Post don't send links as such, they do say a parcel is ready for pick up at the local LPO if you have registered for that though.

we got a rather intimidating message on the phone from the ATO in one.


probably a scam Bernie. The ATO would post a letter to you and not via email.

Scam for sure Bernie, I had a ph call from them a while ago , like you don't pay tax so led them on a merry dance. They seem to do areas at a time as most of the locals had these calls, some of them are elderly and they were a bit shaken by the type of calls.
