Yes, we are keeping an eye on SA rainfall. None. Very bad siuation for farmers, poor buggers.
Rain up here is just a nuisance, the roads get wrecked and big heavy Toyotas sink easily. They are wanting to grade some roads but will have to wait til it dries out a bit.

Lance, if you were driving down the road and saw someone in trouble you would help them but as we sawtoday when we went on our bore run, they just roar on through. I should have got photos ( I know, where are the photos!) but people have been through wet patches in the most extraordinary ways. They go through on the low/wet side because it is the lefthand side when if the went on the right side it was dry. or, there are little bush tracks paralell to the road that they could take. Some tracks were a foot deep, close to bogged-ness, miles from anywhere. Jock just says "They must really want to do Binns Track"

Hi Maryanne, Binns Track is a tourist/4wd route, an off the beaten track tourist experience that goes past our front gate. People can get off the main road and really experience the true outback. :D

No, it's fine, the roads are excellent except when it rains, usually in summer. It is beautiful country with so much diversity and teeming with life. I'm so lucky, I get to 'do the Binns Track' a few times a week :D
