Ron,
Been there, done that!
I didn't include them in the frame, but there is a collection of braces and centre straps for the benches which were powdercoated as well.

Problem is Ray, after all the expense & hard work the chairs aren't very comfortable to sit in for any length of time, guess they looks good.

Could be by design as well, easier to move guests on if the seat isn't real comfy
Apparently the poms use the same tactics for trade negotiations
