At last we have some rain to help slow the fires down but more still needed. Are those air filter machines any good for asthma and other respiratory ailments ?

Our area had heavy smoke mid morning until the rain started. Not heavy rain but steady which settled the smoke.

Dot do some good research on air filters as there is a lot of crap on the market. Even some supposed good brand names, check out choice they did test last year. Cheers Robert

Last year, the HEPO air filters sold out in Melbourne.

I made a home made one taping a big bus engine air filter to a hot air heat/blower thing.

It actually filtered out the smoke smell from the fires.
