ahhh, just realised it was a Cortina. Was fooled by the rear pillar vent. (I'd love to find a Datsun 1600 and bring it back to life.)

Datsun 1600's have been much sort after for years and most have been wrecked after being used for rally or drift cars. Cannot believe the prices being asked for all sorts of wrecks that are being sold as restorable treasures. If only they knew how much it costs to restore them.

Can't remember the model, but there used to be factory produced Datsun which had all goodies under the bonnet (before the 240z came out) - a wolf in sheep's clothing
