Hi All,
Just a note to let you know I'm OK. At Bunderberg at present, HWW meet on the 1st Oct. at Wyper Park Scout Camp for 4 days. Then into th Recreational park for the CMCA AGM. Perfect weather at present. I don't know what a lock down is as I have not been involved anywhere. Can't undestand about Jabs as you can walk in any place up here and get a jab no appointment required.

Thats seems to be the case with a few regional areas. I saw signs at Monto, Gayndah and Warwick stating Covid jab available, no appt necessary. Just had to be there on the right day.

It should be 100% of those wanting to be double vaccinated before any opening of restrictions. That will put the pressure on govts to get the vaccines out there across all areas of all states and ramp up the message that unvaccinated means risking catching the infection and have serious complications, including ICU treatment .... at their cost, possibly requiring periods on a ventilator and long term health issue post Covid. The vaccine won't stop you getting Covid, but it will reduce the severity. Many of the vaccinated may show no signs of having Covid so could end up unwittingly spreading the virus throughout the community, seriously risking the unvaccinated getting very sick or even dying from the virus.
If 40% of those eligible to get the vaccine decide not to get it, that should not stop opening up the borders, that 40% will know the risks and the only way to avoid it is follow the guidelines they refused to follow when the lock-downs were in place, wear a mask every where, stay at home and don't socialise ....

Went to a function last night wearing my DUCT TAPE Can't fix stupid but it helps muffle the sound Tee shirt.
Pregnant woman asked me to define stupid, I said anyone that didn't get the jab, currently. BIG mistake, turned out to be an anti vaxxer. Fortunately the rest of the group turned on her when she started her rant !

Which brings me to my next Tee shirt.

Any suggestions/changes welcomed.

COVID JAB will fix stupid by process of elimination.

OR

COVID JAB a means of raising the average IQ (too obscure for some ?)

COVID JAB: a means of raising the average IQ
This one gets my vote... and an order when you have it printed. :D ;)

It's no more obscure than one of my favourites:

"There are two types of people:
Those who can extrapolate
from incomplete data..."

8-)

My second favourite is:

"I wear this shirt periodically"
[… under the Periodic Table]
