Tennis

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

The guvernment has done the right thing, He's had his VISA cancelled.
Now the court cases, as he has to fight as if the Visa is cancelled no return for three years.

Just a lawyers picnic.

Same play book. Client fights in the Federal court. Looses. Takes it to the High Court. High Court simply says the legislation is done by gov't and we can overrule legislation. If legislation says Minister can do it, and Minister says no. then no.

Here is your bill. Have a good day and thanks for coming.

Sounds like you have been there Jon.
Regardless he won't get to play in the open. IT will be over before the court (pun) starts.

I see this as stupidity by the bigjoke. The official was trying to give him the chance to leave the country by his own will, so that he would not have to be banned from re-entry for 3 years. Now the moron will be forced to leave and won't be allowed back for 3 years. Thems the rules mate.

Don't think he will have much luck keeping his winning run in the tennis match either.

I hope The Djoker is treated the same as the Biloela family.
No rushed court hearing, no compassion pleading.
Maybe he could be held in immigration detention on Christmas Island, and keep the Biloela family company until his day in court… sometime in 2023. Or maybe 2029!
🤔😀

Novax is meeting with immigration officials as I write.
I can just imagine the conversation. 😀
“Well, Mr Djokovic, you have two choices:
1. Get on a plane now — quietly. We have a car waiting outside.
2. Accompany us to the detention hotel and wait for your day in court in three months.
Do you want a coin to flip? I have one here.”

Why do we have the boarder security to make the necessary decisions if folk can then take the decision to court?
Everyone should be treated the same, he should be on a plane home.

Ever considered this is just a political stunt so the gubament can stand up and say they were still tough on border control no matter who it was ..... Now they need to apply the same rules as everyone else when it comes to the Hill Song Church dancing and singing B/S .... yeah, as if ....

I'm a firm believer that when sports controversy hits the front page the Gubbermint is up to something devious behind the scenes.
It's easier to hide something when all the attention and emotions are looking away from what they're up to.
