A while back I mentioned the new treatment for the Men and their prostate woes and I can't remember where I posted so here is the latest for you boys.
The new treatment is a pill, to be taken twice a day, it's named NUBEQA (Darolutamide) Ask your GP or Specialist about it.

Following my PSA rising again 4 years after having my prostate surgically removed I have recently had seven weeks of radiation treatment (35 sessions) followed by two slow release testosterone reduction implants - "Goserelin" - each implant supposedly to last 3 months. Ha Ha yeah right!! I had the last one in mid October and I am still suffering all the side effects - although they do appear to be slowly dissipating. My treatment is fully funded in New Zealand. The side effects mirror almost exactly women suffering the effects of menopause!!
It will be December before I know if this recent treatment has been successful.

Good luck Chris. Wishing you all the best. Erich is now 4.5 years post surgery with minimal rise in his PSA but we are not out of the woods yet. Such an insidious disease. Don’t neglect your tests boys!

As I get older, I am understanding why the need for testing.
I guess it is a bit of, "I'll be right and what is this getting old crap about!"
Invincible? Well I have thought so for many years.
However, now the years have elapsed into my sixties I am have been starting to take notice.
My last PSA test came back with a good result.
As a young male I thought my luv cannon would be working properly for ever.
Well, as time goes on I am just happy with a really good Pee Pee these days.
My favourite tool these days is my Ninja Foodie, it cooks everything.

Went to doctor yesty for first time in maybe 50 for referral for new knee, took BP so now on tablets. Anyone taking Mizart ?
Dr reading was 210 over 120, she nearly shat herself !
Bought a monitor on the way home, mostly 150's over 80's
Guess she should have taken into consideration the fact that I was sitting in waiting room for 2.5 hours and was busting, like really busting for a piss ! But if get up to take a slash, lose place and be there longer.
Suppose had to get old sometime !
Lost 3 Kg in the last 6 days, knee don't hurt much anymore so will loose another 20, pretty easy on Keto, not even hungry. Yes I know first bit is mainly water but have done Keto before, bit more seriously this time.

BP will show marked increase if you are in pain. - just a thought for the high reading. I'm sure the GP would take this into account or she would have had you on an ECG machine quick time.

Keith, my point was she did not take this into account, so busy trying to catch up, no time to listen.
That is why I bought my own monitor, big difference from her readings, still a bit high but nothing like in her office. I am told they call it "white coat syndrome"
Will give her pills a go so far no adverse affects, will see what happens down the track.
