We bought a suitable size and colour shade cloth and had the local canvas repairer sew sail track along one side and hem/insert eyelets along the bottom/sides. As our awning has a secound channel in the metal roller, we slide the shade wall in and out as required. Easy :)

The business being run by a relative of mine is in Warracknabeal, Victoria.
They do upholstry repairs, awning repairs, make tarps, sun-screens etc etc.
I'd prefer it if people contacted them direct though.
They would prefer to have the job at the premises to ensure accurate measurements etc.

Thank you to all for the replies. I'll get onto them and see how we go. Can't take the bus to the supplier as its still a work in progress, but the awning is on and I can take some measurements and send them away. Once again thanks to all.
