Just posted this on CF.

"So we are officially booked from 29/3 till 1/4. Just wondering who is planning to arrive earlier/depart later? Thinking we might extend our booking to arrive Tuesday or Wednesday and depart the following Tuesday in order to be off the roads before/after the masses. Anybody else thinking along the same lines?"

As there are some on this forum who are not on CF but also going to Whitfield, I thought I would give you all the opportunity to put your hands up to spend some quality time with us before the masses arrive.

Did they have any spare spots Lesley?? We haven't even thought when we shall get there

I have no idea Dot. Wayno booked for us (he's obviously hanging out for some of my smoked cod ). As we are booked for an unpowered spot, I doubt it will be a problem for us but I would certainly ring and book the extra days just haven't done it yet. Maybe I should do that and report back.

Ok, just spoke to them and was told we were booked to arrive Thursday and leave Tuesday so have extended that to arrive Tuesday. I was told by the lady that the week leading up to Easter is always quiet so not a problem to book the extra days prior (might be a problem if wanting to stay longer than Tuesday so definitely check with them) but always better to let them know if arriving before the booking date.

We are going to a Rodreguez at the Enmore Theatre Monday night, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKFkc19T3Dk,Tuesday probably camp out at Hume Weir, Wed hit Rutherglen, depending on the damage we will arrive either Wed night or Thurday sometime Probably leave Tuesday
