Hello all, was reading post about being asked to move on from a c/ park owner.It got me thinking about the time we were sitting in our van having a cuppa in the big rig park accross the road from IGA in Nothampton in WA , when bang bang on the side of van , opened door and the guy from the c/ park was standing there telling us we could not camp there.I told him we were not camped there we were useing the stop for what it is intened for , He was like a wild dog the way he carried on .He went around every rig that was parked there some to use the dump point only,some like us were just taking a break. i must add we had fueled up spent money in IGA and brought a few ..well maybe 6 bottles of wine from the hotel.So buy this c/ park owner being so rude to us all ,we all said we would pass the word around , and in NOMANDS land that kind of talk is not very good advertising, for the town or the c/ park.

Spread the word as much as possible, the town will soon get the message.

That's the problem- town suffers because of the CP owner.

A letter to the editor of the local rag would be a good idea in this sort of case. We had a local c/p owner complaining about just this sort of incident recently of campers using a council rest area. His rave was printed in the local paper, and it was a rave. He got some responses alright all critical of the standard and run down condition of his park and why people wouldn't stay in his park.
