Wilbor is a 11/1992 model Mitsubishi Canter 4WD and started life as a tip truck and was delivered to QFleet on 23-3-93. Bought from the Government Auctions in Brisbane in April 1995 with 26km (26 only) on the clock and had the chassis extended and motorhome body built. Not counting QFleet, has had 3 owners since constructed. We bought it in May 2007 with 68000 km on the clock. Has tilt cab and carries 2 spare tyres for the truck and one for the offroad trailer. All low voltage is 24v

Ceiling is perspex with the lights above The boot hinges up and houses this gear and the 3kva generator when I take it.

Love it, well thought out. Tell me about the stairs please, I'm struggling with methods of making the stairs automatic with the door opening, it's a requirement for engineering and ADR's or whatever. The stairs must be imediately available for an emergency exit, the floor is 1.2metres (4ft) off the ground so a jump out the door would definitely result in an injury.

The steps hinge on the left hand side with a swivel type affair and a drop down hook supports the right hand side so they hinge up and down for uneven terrain. The hand rail pulls out of the two pipes welded to the steps.
To stow them the hand rail is removed and the hook is swivelled up out of the way and the steps are pulled out level and they swing in and stow on top of the grey water tank and the batteries and the locker door is then closed to lock them away. I have a pull out ‘smoko’ step which slides out.

Dot, internal ceiling height is 2m. The height of the floor from the ground is 1m

While it’s not a Landcruiser, it does go to many places other M/H’s can’t. Height and width do restrict a lot of access to tracks etc but we have a quad for those and now the Suzy is also an option depending where we go and what we are doing.
