Lance, a long story mainly put old ladies on a committee that don't care about OH&S and there you have it.. For the first time in a week we are able to have the windows open but NO the neighbour has started the doof doof crap up so the windows are shut and the shutters are down with the tv turned up, up, up grrrrr. Silly me I forgot to say goodnight everyone x

Lance, the clue for the dragons is............ the fire comes from my kiln. not my mouth! I make fancy dichroic glass jewellery and my business is called D.d.dragon dezigns (known as the stuttering dragon). It has been so hot in the last few months, when I am meant to be updating my stock for the coming year, that I haven't even ventured down the yard to my studio, never mind had the strength to light up the kiln. Soon, we will be back on the road to try to flog off more jewellery to the masses. Then you will get sick of me telling you about being on the road again.

Dot, neighbours don't help when it's hot. Maybe it's time to crank up the bagpipe cds, with the speakers aimed outside the house of course.

Crazy weather, we had 4 different gov warnings about catastrophic fire weather. I really don't think we should need to be told that in this heat, the eventuality could be bush fires. Trouble is that nobody (under 50) seems to be able to think for themselves anymore. Obviously no super teacher can teach families how to develop common sense.

Sleep channel worked very well last night, so going to try that again tonight... only a few extra tablets and I was off to sleep asap. I hate taking them, but sometimes it's the only way.
Anyway, it's been hot here again, but not as hot as expected. The promised bush fires, missed us completely (thank goodness) and we haven't even smelt fire smoke all day. That was a definite bonus.
Had a big family dinner here tonight, so really need to get off to sleep before the body just stops.
So it's a goodnight from me xxx

I haven't left yet, still here at home...boo hoo . Happy travels T1Terry and Margaret.
Staying cooler today and tomorrow. Have not needed to turn on the air con for over 24 hours. That is nice. They say it will go back to hot for the rest of the week, (not so good). Anyways, it is sleep time, so goodnight one and all xxx
