Spent the night there in 2006 & that is all I can remember except seeing this sculpture. Too many sleeps since then

Is it a statue of D'Arcy Uhr, the legendary stockman? Pioneered the Nth Qld to Darwin stock route

Not sure that it is specifically any individual, but more celebrating the Junction Hotel which was a focal point of the stock route. So I'll give it to you Terrance. The hotel even had a gravity bowser just to the right of the green wheelie bin in middle far right of photo, but I'm limited to three photos, so I'll not put it up. I have a couple of the shower block for which they charged "20 cents" showing all the latest mod cons. Well, thought this thread must have died, good to see it's still alive.
At first I thought SA, their lawns grow like that, but then the grass was the wrong colour, green instead of brown, so I'll have shot at WA
