How clever is evil bay? I spotted another seller pretending a chair was a Stressless recliner, after my ordeal I contacted the seller and told him they were not what he said it was and also sent him pics of where he would find the stressless trade marks but he just replied "It's buyer beware" so I just rang evilbay and they can see all the emails and pictures I sent this guy along with his response. They are going to smack his hand good and proper  How can the "buyer beware" if you are reliant on sellers honesty with descriptions i.e brand names and you are 100's/k's away ?? just another scam artist.. Hope he gets banned. :D

Go Dot, keep the mungrels honest. Now I will only use paypal to pay for evilbay purchases, simply because you have extra ways to get your money back.

I thought fire crackers were illegal?? (except for councils of course) my sister in Vic has a DH neighbour a few doors up that is always letting them off but last night he over did it with a bonfire as well  As you may know she has dogs and needless to say they were terrified, she rang the coppers and their reply was "We can't do anything about it" :? Then she rang the fire dept and said about the bonfire, = same response so then my BIL rang them and they then came and put the fire out. :? The same thing happened here in Adelaide last night but this time it did start a fire, a big one.. Is it just me or am I missing something with the laws.? Have a look at the dog pounds etc to see just how many poor animals are now traumatised by the absolute stupidity of us humans.

Yeah I would like to discuss some things with A hole who let some off at 5:30 this morning less than 50 m from us.

Perhaps fit them with a new A hole for a start.

Last time they let the bikes race at Bathurst (April 2000), I thought it would be one for the bucket list. I packed the tent on the GSXR600R, purchased a weekend (three day) pass and set up on the mountain.

Fireworks, HA! Pyrotechnic maniacs are these guys. Going to bed early was my second mistake. It didn't take too long for me to find that out half way through the night when the momma of all explosions nearly shook me out of my sleeping bag - I kid you not - the ground shook so violently, morning couldn't come soon enough for this scared little puppy to get out of there and kiss my three day pass good-bye.

Never Ever Again!

Yes they are pretty but I look at the $$$$ and then all the charities come out and ask us for $$ how many billions went up in smoke, deafened people, started fires, scared thousands of animals and kept people awake? Those light shows are a better idea if we must have some show.

Well, last night was no different to any other New Yrs around these parts. Fireworks started going off at around 11 am, must have been practice runs, then a whole heap around 9pm, them again at 10pm, then of course at midnight, give or take an hr either side. I should have woken the dog and the cat up so they could be petrified but as usual they slept through it all, only waking to the smell of any sort of food. Sometimes I think the fears of the owners are transferred into the animals and they learn to be scared by the noise, ours were comforted the first few times when they were young, they never personally experienced being blown up, so they just treat it as one of those noises that happen in the suburbs.
Now, when is someone going to do something about all the noise those cicadas’ make, bloody deafening, they should be banned
