This morning we took off to Murray Bridge with Miss Elly dog and after the boys drilled a couple of holes in the houseboat roof and G had had his hrly feed of cake and a cup of tea Bruce & Wendy cast off and away we went gently cruising along the Murray River. Beautiful weather to moor the houseboat on a nice green park area and to have a BBQ lunch. Wendy was a bit piffed that she had not put her fishing line in for some worm drownings as a couple of fellas on the bank had caught a few nice sized fish. Then we were casting off for a bit more cruising and heading back to Murray Bridge. Time to hit the road home after such a relaxing and beautiful day. Thank you to Bruce & Wendy for a great day. Miss Elly also enjoyed her adventure even though she slept nearly all the day. :D

Thankyou Dot!
After a few days of being busy straightening out a few issues around the boat it was so lovely just relaxing and enjoying the company of you & yours.

About to make some shade cloth covers for 2 windows on what is usually the western side. Never worried about sun before because they had very good tinting but since we had to get 2 new windows the tinting is no where near as dark.

On the van, just for when we are parked. Also really miss the dark tinting- could sticky beak out these 2 windows & no one could see inside   Sail track insertion sewn to top of shade cloth then wide elastic across the bottom corners to hold in place on the bottom of the windows.

Russ & Sandra arrived this morning and are tucked away in the yard, another bus to explore and they have some innovative ideas hidden here and there in their bus, more ideas to pinch ;) There are a couple of places underneath their bus that G wasn't allowed to be shown either ;) Tomorrow will see the arrival of the old Chuckie and his much better half..

Banal .. Open to any topic on and off topics etc

For the uninitiated among us, Dot, what is Russ and Sandra's forum moniker? Just so we can keep track of who is where and what they are up to. Give C& C a big hug from us.
Cheers
