Goan Waterhole near Trangie? there was a lot more grass when we were last out that way. Heaps of over nighter areas out that way so this could take a while

haven't been there. this place is dry dry dry (except for where the water is but even the the ground is very dry and dusty) and is known for its local yowie population.

piliga it is, tiny one horse town, pub opens at 3pm café isn't too bad for a feed and the bores are great for a dip.

Dot, I haven'y been to Pilliga yet but I know that is where Yowies come from. Years ago nobody would park up in the Pilliga Scrub on a trip because we were all worried about things that go bump in the night.
