Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Time for bed, it's getting cold again and I'm still in recovery mode after the truck drive. Strawberries and cream variety it said on the candle wrapper, not quite sure what strawberries and cream would smell like but I'll leave Deborah to sniff them and tell us if they smell ok or not...

Strawbs n cream, hmmm you know how to get a smile on a lady's face, very sweet Terry, and they smell good enough to eat.
Good luck in the crazy city Dot.
Our stall is all set up in the Lightning Ridge bowling club, ready to start trading in the morning. I don't know why they start at 9 am, when the air hasn't warmed up yet, but we will be there. This is the first time that we have had a corner stall, that means 2 tables to spread out on and it looks great. So the sales will tell if the extra " investment" of a premium site was worth it.
The cold air has hit and it's time for bed, so good night all xxx
Deborah

Don't forget that photo Deborah. Tonight's candles are all the left over bits melted down into one candle.... can you remember what flavours they were?
Good night Dottie, good night all you lucky people at the get together or heading that way, spare a thought for us poor soles still working hard back in the salt mines

Sorry Terry, I am photo-illiterate and camera shy, so that is just not happening... however the tutti fruity candles are most interesting, a sweet lingering cherry and fruitiness with a subtle chocolate aroma. mmmmm mmmmm

Hope that camp fire is just starting to glow and how....enjoy the serenity you lot.

The Ridge has been a busy day with good sales and a bit of bloody politics thrown in. Trader next to me has a selection of cheap crap and is trying to sell "glass" pendants for $2 each. She has continually moved her stock around all day, so that she could utilise my lighting....not to be outsmarted by a cheapskate, I have moved stock and lights to make sure her end of the table is now in my shadow. A word with organisers tomorrow, may cause some changes to positioning for us next time.

exhausted from a busy day, so bed is calling. Good night everyone xxx

Greetings from the dragon lady,
dragon dilemma solved. Rogue trader was waiting for the organiser when we arrived today, paid out the fees in cash for the rest of the weekend and then left his tables empty. Apparently he has sold all of his stock to locals to sell at the weekend markets. Organisers have suggested that he will only be allowed to trade outside next year...here's hoping they do the right thing by us too.
Very tired from a slow market day, so nighty night all. xxx

You may have had good sales as customers compared the cheap glass to the real deal and purchased from you rather than the other seller. Maybe you should have bought up some of their stock and put it on a display stall beside your stall, then you could have collected on the sale to those that wanted junk jewellery for the grandkids to play with that looked a bit like the good stuff you sold them.... worth thinking about?

Good night after 5 hours around the campfire. Photos in the am as too tired to copy to computer. We 4 & May & Bill (Busman) left around the fire about 7pm by all the others.
