Good night Dottie, just for you tonight's candles are citronella oil filled. Know all about the monster mozzies at the new house, mozzie zappers going full steam ahead while we had power, but it doesn't seem to have had much effect on the total population now we don't have any power to run them. SA Powers excuse today was there was no access to the meter box but there wasn't any real answer to the question that if there was enough access to turn the power off how come there was now not enough access to turn it back on..... They must think everyone is as stupid as they are or something.

Terry, they may need to read the meter to give you a starting number, but really they don't go anywhere near the house to turn the power on or off. Yes, they do expect us al to be stupid... to quote a famous Gunp "stoopid is as stoopid does" .
You think the mozzies are bad, just wait for the dreaded sandflies to start on their invasions. Treatment and prevention of sandflies: mix equal parts of Dettol, baby oil and eucalyptus oil or lavender oil. Spray on any visible skin hourly. Works a treat.
Started on the mammoth task of glueing tiny scraps of glass onto earing fittings today. My hands a smothered in glue, not a pretty sight.

Very bad ph & internet coverage here in the Nth Star Rest Area #766 about 40ks Sth from Mooree NSW. Pulled in here and there was 1 caravan over by the loos so as usual we went to the other end, must have known something as soon after 4pm this sick sounding genny started up... Not long after another wiz bang arrives, goes to the back of the cvan then suddenly moves in front of us, then a caravan comes in, same MO and then it is next to us, looked outside and you guessed it another wiz bang parked up the exhaust. The thing to do for some privacy is to start a very sick putt putt genny on and watch everyone scatter. Anyway time to sign off as this is sooooooooo slow. This rest area is a very large tarred area so why do they have to smother one another??? Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Bobk x

Yes it is a beautiful big area that I've stopped in several times. Are the roadsides very wet in that area?
