We wandered around in the underground motel today. Very interesting, but could not stay for too long without seeing the outside world. It spooked me. Saw a few jewellery places, but were pretty uninspired and saved a fortune. I really don't like opal enough to spend my hard earned on it. Glass is plenty good enough for me.
After a busy day, I am heading to bed, so goodnight one and all xxx

We made it to Broken Hill yesterday. Been pretty busy looking around and there is a lot to see. My favourite artist (Howard William Steer) says open 7 days per week, just not today. So we will try again tomorrow. Found a train/tram museum that was quite interesting. Lunch at the musos club was pretty ordinary. They coated the roast lamb and pumpkin with nutmeg, yucko. The rest of the day has been shopping and housekeeping. Now it's time for that warm bed n a good book.

We spent today doing all the rest of our needed shopping, and bought some things that were not on the list. Bought a few "new" books from vinnies, as well as a couple of shirts. It is so warm that tshirts are the trend here in Broken Hill, so all is good. At home, it is still raining and miserable. Looks like we took the right time to escape the crappy weather.
Off to that quiet reading in the warm bed.

So now you are a greased monkey. That's a new one.

Arrived in Peterborough for lunch at 1;40 in the only pub that looked open, only to be to be told that lunch finishes at 1;30, try the café up the road. Obviously we ate elsewhere, but aint that a great way to treat the tourists?
Spending the night down the road at Crystal Brook. A lovely little rural feeling park. Heading for Port Lincoln tomorrow.
That warm bed is looking good, so nighty night all xxx

Made it to Port Lincoln. The roads were signposted to send us up a street that was blocked off totally at the other end with no room planned for turning the van around..gggrrr. We got out of that mess and headed further around the bite to Port Augusta. It feels a little bit different too. Staying here another night, just to catch up on washing and sleeping.
Stay safe out there, and off to bed for me.
