Had another day argue-ing with the sewing machine. I did manage to finish a nighty, but it was sew one, unpick one , for quite a while. Success is a slow process when doing the difficult stuff. If it was just easy peasy curtains I would have knocked the job over in no time. But all day just to finish a nighty, seemed a bit excessive.

I finally found some software that my computer is friendly with and have started making the Uluru book. I found that snapfish and vistaprint were both at a good price, but the sites kept closing me down. After I got fed up with the rejections, I went off and pretended to be domesticated for a while. After dinner I returned to the task. I tried the fabness company this time and success. They all seem to come out at about the same price, once you apply the "discount codes" . I don't understand why they don't just give a proper price up front. Anyway, it took three hours to upload the photos, but they are now safely stored in the programme and I can get back to the project when I have time. I love the finished books, but what a drama, just to send off the pictures.
Finally I can go to bed, now that the computer is settled down again. So goodnight one and all xxx

So far the photo album is up to Ayers Rock. Now I have a snag. So many pics of just the same rock, but they are all different. I am having to be a more discerning person and not actually use at least three quarters of them. So just another day at the salt mines here! But the sun did shine and the air was warm.

Watch out Dot, there are still some snow clouds around. I saw some tonight and now it's getting a little chilly. Some poor person is having a much colder night than we are.

Another day for specialist appointments in far away Gosford (I hate that place with a vengeance). This time for hubby and all is well, but it is still another day wasted waiting for doctors who run way over their appointed times and don't thinks twice about you waiting over an hour to see them. Didn't get a discount for our time wasted either! End of whinge.
Today was at least very sunny and warmish.
I am off to bed now for some much needed ugly sleep, after we had such an early start so that we wouldn't be rudely late for said quack!
