Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Hey Dot, did you see shark tank this week? A nice shark invested 2 1/2 million with a guy who makes biodegradable coffee pods. Today's paper says he has been charged with telling porkies about his previous business transactions, a couple of years previous to this.. Makes you wonder if the producers of the show did a proper check on this guy. If I had a spare $10 I may have invested with him, he seemed so believable....time will tell.
Spent a lot more time today on the book production. I reckon tomorrow will see it finished, so all is happening around here.

Time to thaw out a lot, so going to the prewarmed bed.
Nighty night everyone xxx

Motorhome midnight has nothing on you early birds. Is it too cold to stay out of bed??? Travel safely Dot. You following the Sturt Hwy for a long while up to Darwin, or just three ways? The quality of the road impressed us, even much better than the roads around hour home. It's just the odd Btriple that you have to watch out for. :o :o :o :) You will manage them, no dramas.

I finally finished the masterpiece. Photo album fully created and sent off to the printers. Now all I have to do is wait to see the finished product. I guess that means the shed is where I will be found this weekend then. My work is building up as I speak. Several pieces from the last load need to be redone and I have some new glass to play with. So you know where to find me then

An early one for me too. I am just tired from the photo album making. So off to bed for me too
Goodnight one and all xxx

When you leave Adelaide you can take either the Stuart Highway or the Sturt Highway. I feel a song coming on :-

What a difference an 'a' makes.

Lyrics
What a difference a day made
Twenty-four little hours
Brought the sun and the flowers
Where there used to be rain

It hadn't occurred to me before but that song was definitely written about people who leave Adelaide's winter and head north.

Steve I suspect you should leave the singing for the shower mate. That was terrible.

Worked all day in the shed, cleaning kiln shelves and boring stuff. But then had to fire up the kiln to dry out the shelf wash on the shelves so it got nice n warm in there. Probably will do some glass work tomorrow, no rush... only a few weeks until we are due at Lightning Ridge with the stuff to sell. Hopefully the next load will be a good one.

I am off to a warm bed, so it's goodnight from me xxx

Back to say goodnight, yes early I know but seeing as we are in jail I am going to use every ounce of power so watch out washing machine, microwave, stove top, etc etc At $35 pr night for a dirt patch where you get no water and the power point is miles away, showers are 20cents every 3 minutes, BBQ use is $1 for 25mins, Laundry is $5 a load, dryer is $4. & you pay 20cents for 8 minutes to use the camp kitchen gas top    Anyway goodnight everyone x :) goodnight Terry where ever you are.x

Dot, you are right. It is criminal charging those prices and not warning you take in your own water either. We were a little taken aback with the prices in many places and disgusted at the state of some sites. Alice Springs showgrounds is not a good option either (security ;) ;) ) and not much cheaper than the parks. We stayed in the tourist park and it was close-ish to town, but where do you stay if the bus has to be worked on for a coupla days? Does your insurance or whatever the equivalent to NRMA cover a cabin ? Drive slowly and carefully..as usual and leave the chinamen at Coober Pedy.

The lair was warmed today by the kiln on full bore... well my shed was warm at least. Tomorrow I get a looky see, once it cools down. But it was a busy day doing good stuff.

Goodnight one and all xxx
