Here in downtown Warra Qld, nice spot for a couple of nights. Shop advertising great hamburgers etc are only open Mon - Frid, the pub not open until 2pm tomorrow (and we were going to get tea there) so looks like the shops here x 3 have missed out on some $$ but shall drop a few gold coins in a box at the loos. We had Melbum weather today. Lovely warm start, hot for lunch, southerly wind blew in at 3pm, winds developed into icy blasts the rain at 7pm. Truly a spring day with all seasons in one.'
Had a fun day here with many jayco mates into mischief.

Totally stuffed from all this frivolity,

Dot, stay as far North as you can for a lot longer. It is still freezing cold here, especially at night. Long sleeves, all weekend, not too thrilled with that.

Gee George, have you been spying on us? Yes that is what happens. The rest of em go to bed early-ish and I get up to mischief. I can understand Julie wanting more fancy glass beautifications, sadly we don't do markets in Newy anymore. The people are way too cheap n mean with their money for us.

Our next market will be at Port Macquarie for the Christmas Gift Fair in Panthers, last weekend in October, or closer to home is the Taree Craftathon at the golf club in Taree on November 18-19. How about having a great reason to get that bus out for a practice run before Christmas? I just don't have the energy these days for shorter events. By the time we set out all the stuff, its time to pack it all away. The only one day ones that we do are at Hornsby RSL. Next one for that is a Thursday afternoon/night in early December. Will let you know closer to the time, if you are interested.

Today most of the club members went home...something about paying taxes to keep us layabouts in the style to which we have become accustomed. Anyway, the small group that is left, (all 12 of us) went out for lunch, stuffed ourselves silly, came back, had a walk to settle a huge lunch and then spent the rest of the day doing happy hours until it got too cold to sit outside. Oh the joys of retirement.

All this partying has worn me out enough to get into that warm bed and read for a while,
so it's definitely a good night from me xxx

Word got out about this stop, no more room at this inn but that hasn't stopped em crowding in on top of each other.. They are even parked out on the side street. Arrived home all safe n sound. Van is unpacked and stowed away in the back yard until next month. Been a tiring day, so it's off to bed for me.

Deborah I think those thyroid pills need upping Went for a walk earlier up the main st of Bowenville (before I heard the news) the pub was alive and kicking and I patted the only horse in town (one horse town) Going to make an early start in the morning to get to Ipswich Showgrounds,, that's what the bull bar is for Not as cool tonight but oh boy are the next few days going to be hot....
