But then our neighbours had a mob of mates with jetskis visiting and the noise was horrific. Followed by them taking up the whole street to wash several jetskis. For over an hour, they totally blocked off our street for anyone to come in. Just noisy inconsideate, spoilt rich kids.

probably wear Lycra on Sundays.

I wish they wore lycra Jon, that would at least be quiet. No for this Sunday, they have bought a fancy, noisy jet boat. So we had the same treatment today. Noisy on the water and followed by noisy on the street in front of our house. Just gotta love a rich Leb! saying no more.

Dot, bad luck about the wind, sorry I don't know who won the crown, so can't help you. Enjoy the escape from home xxx

Had another very hot day here, so fired the kiln up. Just for a few pieces. I love my new solar system, now I can heat up the kiln any time for free! I almost love the sunshine for that reason too. But I do hate this hot spell, it's just relentless.

Rain and then some more rain this arvo & evening moored at Bow Hill for the night, picked another passenger up today and a rowdy bunch we are . Good to see that Brian is doing his bit for the CMCA mob, well trained Dot.

Too hot here to contemplate doing anything much. Took the desktop computer to the docs to get it fixed (again) they think it may be ANT damage, so all cables etc will be checked before anything else.Just gotta love living in Aus, if the insects dont kill you then watch out for your home and computers. I have booked a pest man to come and try to eradicate the little monsters from the house, they keep popping up everywhere, even in a sealed jar of peanut butter. Dont know how they got in there, but they are on the way to the tip now!

I been wo**ing again today. More kiln w***, and in this heat too. I don't hang around in the shed while it's firing that's for sure.

Then we had the plumbing block up, so spent a bit of time hunting for a plumber. he came and did his stuff. It's unblocked for now, but a camera crew will come out next week to follow it up, and check that we haven't just pushed the problem further down the line. Seems like we are spending more money when we are at home, than when on tour.

All this excitement is enough for one day, so off for some hundred winks

Another busy day at the lair. I bent some glass in the kiln and then did some lessons on the computer about making and designing moulds for glass, very fascinating. I still have a lot to learn.

The water was as calm as a glass pond last night, heard some carp jumping around and one of the boatie guests trying to find where she was wanting to go (and couldn't) Deborah this cruising is such hard work we need our sleep. Made even more mud pies today, after dealing with a sparky that seemed to take way too long. Anyway light is fixed now, so back to w**k for me in the shed for the rest of the day.

Somehow, I am so tired tonight so having an early one.
