What engine is it? Volvo's had a heater plate on the air intake, clouds of white if you didn't use it.... if it started at all
One of the big job hire mobs I worked for had a generator that was air start. We retro fitted a Honda powered compressor that filled the big air tank, then all 6 valve lifters were set, the engine turned via a long steel handle into the flywheel till the marks lined up. Starting was a matter of opening the air valve, each cyl in order would flick the valve lifter off and the big flywheel kept it turning as each cyl added to the engine speed, it would pump the air tank back up while it was running and once up to speed the generator output cut in and away everything went

The Cummins 6BTA has a pre-heater just before the air inlet to the engine. I have it disconnected, I was concerned that anything that is located in that location could easily end up IN the engine. The motor starts easily in all climates.

THD101KC turbo 6 cyl on its side. Cannot seem to find any glowplug or terminal on the intake or anywhere. Interesting. I might ask on the bus forum, will let y'all know

Does this mean the bus will get a wash so you are going to claim that as something you did on your rig?

The Bureau of Meteorology has warned of dangerous weather in Australia's eastern states because of a large and complex weather system, and a developing east coast low.
