Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

You are a slave driver Dot.
Just for you, I fired up the kiln today and bent a couple of business card holders that have been waiting a few weeks. Looks like one went well and the other will need another firing to get it to bend in the right places. It was over 30 degrees here today, so imagine what my shed felt like! I think we have missed Autumn, winter will hit with a vengeance soon.

good night all xxx

Gotta love a trip to see a man! well especially if the news is all good, here's hoping xxx

Fired up another load today, the refired one looks better, but the other business card holder managed to fall inwards onto itself and now looks a bit like a useless pretzel. I only found the fallen bit after the glass was molten, so it was too late to separate it. Honestly this is one very weird way to spend a day. I guess I will be smashing the useless one into bits to make something else...never waste a bit of glass.

All this playing in heat is exhausting, so it's a goodnight from me xxx

Dunno about wind chimes Dot, but it wont be wasted that's for sure. I will find a way to recycle the lump of glass. xxx

Visited the superannuation lady today. That took almost all of the day. We drove to Gosford, saw our lady, then down the road to The Entrance and had a fancy smorgasbord lunch (way too much food). We came home in 33 degree heat. so slept off lunch and stayed upstairs in the aircon for the rest of the day. I may venture down to my shed tomorrow. After a godd sleep in that is.

I need to some really heavy ugly sleep now,

so goodnight from me xxx

Thanks for the re-run Dot. Quoting yourself is a novel idea. xxx Good luck with number 1 tongue man tomorrow.

Spent the day researching the replacement car. My baby car has just up and declared it has had it's day... it's only a baby 20year old car. So after quite a bit of research, we finally found the best car deal on offer for a new-ish rav4, that catch is we have a few hours drive to go look see. It's in Moss Vale, so hotel has been booked and we are off, early in the am,

so It's definitely good night from me xxx

Robert, I reckon they designed that sleep test in such a way, that you are not going to have a normal sleep and then they will force you to buy all sorts of medieval torture devices to " improve" your sleep. Hope you get an honest review of your situation, sleep well. Obviously there are a lot of people who seem to have been improved totally by this stuff, but for those on the borderline of the problem, it can be a nightmare all on it's own.

Hey Dotty one, I been watching out for puffs of green smoke down your way, but nothing in view??? ;) ;) ;) better fly up to Nimbin where I have been offered all sorts of things, including green cookies and in full view of Mr and Mrs Plod. xxx

Today, I fell in love with a new-ish car. So paid my dues and will collect it tomorrow morning, after they do a service, wash it and fill it with petrol. As this is my first new car for 18 years, I reckon it's ok to be hugely excited. Poor Dorothy Datsun my have her nose out of joint tomorrow when she has to sleep out of the garage for the first time ever.

I am going to need some serious sleep, as last night, well, it was too much excitement to sleep. But tired enough to sleep tonight.

Goodnight all xxx
Deborah
