Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Is that a Jon recipe? Do you make it? Sounds ok I have never used baked vegetables in soup.

Tried roasting pumpkin for soup but decided it was easier just to throw it in raw.

Thanks Jon, I have run a copy off of your recipe and we shall see how we go. G said seeing as he won the mens cook off with his entry of "Al la boiling water" he should be able to do the soup...

"takns" here Dot---
Yes, it is getting a bit cool of an evening and early morning at the Dysart Bunker.
I have now got a blanket on the bed and I sleep-in till the sun warms the house.
Mr Russell is booked in for the Vet on wednesday for more heart pills but he is doing ok.
You take care in the big city.

I plan to have another birthday next year.

Dot, if G can chop veg n boil water, he can make soup. Chop up all the veggies that you like into small bits, with a little garlic and onions, cover with water and boil for a few hours until very soft. This is now the base, you can add all sorts of stuff for variety. Beef or chooken stock, pasta, rice, tomato paste, dried soup mix, lentils, some cheap beef chopped small, or chicken thighs chopped up , all tossed in at the same time as the veg and you will have a winner every time. Good luck George. Enjoy the feasts to follow Dot.xxx

Been a slow day in the lair today. I woke with a thumper head, so have now been drugged beyond sensible. This is a sinus headache because of the changing seasons, not from inkohol or any other self incriminating bad habits.

Hopefully I will return to the shed tomorrow to finish creating the load of glass that I started last week. As I am typing, the rain is thundering above me. I wish there was some way to send all this water up to the drought stricken areas, somehow it seems so unfair that we are getting so much rain and they miss out.
Oh well, it's a goodnight from me xxx
Deborah

Just get out there and enjoy life

Had a quiet day, G went to Dr for his shingles vac and also had the cars wheels rotated and balanced or something and I laid on the lawn with my pussy near by enjoying the warm sun. Boys on bikes doing their thing but I can;t stay up any longer. Goodnight everyone x :) Goodnight Russell from SA x :)
