Had a busy day with the sprogs. They "helped "to make a supply of sausage rolls for the freezer (for travel). They were amazed at how many veggies I squeeze into sausage rolls and while they were happy to help create, they refused to eat them. Too healthy apparently. So they had sausages wrapped in puff pastry for their dinner. We enjoyed our proper healthy ones too.

The kids are still up and awake, so I am off to make the house darker, and hopefully silent!

Sprogs finally went to sleep after 2 am last night, woke up at 11 am, and it has been a trying day (grumpy kids) Fortunately tonight, they went off to the land of nod around 11 and are settled at last. Teenagers are certainly another breed!

What a fantastic stage win the boys on bikes put on. Time to hit the sheets ready for an earlier start to the city for zapping. You must be nuts to have teenage sprogs in the house I would have woken them up when I got up but I am not a sprog lover Having fun stirring up HTFFBO's other half, easy to get him fired up Its a political subject so will not go there here but it is fun. 6 zaps to go .. Bloody sprogs woke up again last night after I closed the computer down. You can all imagine how friendly I was not after that. We get to return them from whence they came tomorrow..oh joy and bliss, but that also means a drive to Sydney and back erkyperky.


I had better get some sleep before the alarm clock tries to wake me, so nighty night one and all xxx

I am early, because I am stuffed. After taking the sprogs to the city, feeding them at golden arches on the way, then returning home, it has been a very long day. The traffic in Sydney is unbelievable, but as we both noticed, there doesn't seem to be any major road that is not under total reconstruction. The roads are a disaster and when they finish putting in all the extra lanes, it will be time to build either more roads or widen them again. We were both pleased to arrive home to a noticeably quiet home and congratulated ourselves on having the courage to leave the city permanently over 12 years ago. Best move ever.
