Funny Dot, I thought you had sent the wind up here to us. Been a bugger of a windy day here. Like yours, the washing here was dried in record times, but had to be rescued fairly quickly before the wind tore it to shreds. xxxx
Not much happened in the lair today, the wind made sure that we stayed indoors for most of the day. So did a few fiddly things and not much else.
goodnight everyone xxx

Thanks for thinking of us up here in paradise.
I had to take Mr Russell to the vet last week because he had a seisure/fit type of turn.
He is ok now and has some more pills to take as well as his heart meds.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Poor Mr Russell give him a gentle hug from me please Tanks. I think his fit thing must be heart related, those things usually are

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, dont get manic or panic, just find a new hobby.....not clearing our old junk. Poor Mr G must be terrified that you might toss him away too.
xxxx
Had a sewing day today. It's too cold n windy to go outside unless absolutely necessary, so I stayed indoors and started on the hems of the new happy pants. Being a little bit vertically challenged means all newly purchased pants have to be shortened. Some are now finished and waiting to be pressed, still a few more to do yet. Maybe tomorrow.
It is so cold, that a warm bed is looking very inviting, so goodnight from me xxx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Yeah Dot, I sew, but not from happy choice, just necessity and poverty a few decades ago (when the kids were little sort of thing) . Remember, I could never do fence posts though! Now what are you doing being manic again? Are you allowed a wee drop of some nerve calming booze yet? That may calm you down.
xxxx
Another couple of pairs of duds done today and a few more clearing out the car n van jobs all finished. Soon we'll be packing the van again. It seems like a never ending thing here.
It's cold again tonight, so I am heading for a warmed bed to thaw out. So goodnight from me xxx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
I am still around Deborah just reading some very very old posts and having a bit of a laugh
I even attempted to suck some potato chips but all I ended up with was a soggy bolus stuck between the armtongue and cheek, never a hope in hell of getting that down the gullet
So I ended up having chicken soup with some bread broken up into tiny bits chucked into the soup then I really pigged out on 2 bowls of yummy custard with those stewed plums. Oh it was nice
So time to hit the sack as it is tomorrow I go to town to see the speech therapist so goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Good luck disassembling that hills hoist Dot. xxxx Certainly a treasure to keep one in the yard. Ours is so old, that every now and then, the whole inside post has to be lifted out, with all the lines attached, and "new" upside down, spaghetti tin has to be sent down to hold the centre pole up out of the dirt. Always a laugh in this lair!
Had a visit to the chiro today, much needed and feel better for it. But then, the van had to packed. So all the stuff that I needed, was put into washing baskets, he took it down to the van for me and I carefully distributed the stuff to where it belongs. So job done, van is ready for take off in the morning. We plan to be at Bonny Hills (South of Port Macquarie) with our crazy jayco mob for the weekend.
I am totally stuffed, so goodnight from me xxx
