We had a frost last night and we sure knew it this morning even Brian got under the bedding. Tomorrow they say we will be getting very strong winds bringing a huge dust storm and the temp supposed to be around the 30deg mark. So we shall see what we shall see. We seem to have had a few inches of rain over the last 2 days. Our block is very sodden and we have enjoyed some time to just chill out, before our world becomes a crazy place with family invasions at the weekend.

George went to a lot of trouble today to make me feel better about moving back into the house. He had bought some flowers, and had put my favourite teddy bears here and there and generally spruced up the place. 4 loads of washing done and now it is time to get back into the big bed even though there isn't an electric blanket on. Today we braved the local shops for a big grocery shop. Not a happy occassion. I seemed to have forgotten where most of the things were on tyhe shelves and had to walk the aisles 2 or 3 times before I found most of the things on my list. As we have hardly been able to shop in WWs for two months, I had forgotten how difficult they can be. Frozen veg are either from NZ or Belgium, that's really showing our farmers loyalty and support...not.

Had another house day, just settling back to routine. Sorted all the piles ofmail and paid the bills that seemed to be urgent. What a surprise to have to pay the water rates, the trailer rego and the boat rego, as well as paying the council rates yesterday. Bank balance is a little bit lower than when the day started.

Today I did very little, except a few preparations were necessary for family invasion tomorrow. Most of the kitchen prep has been done and tomorrow, it will just be a case of loading up the ovens and the crockpot and set the table and all will be under control.

No battery working for this machine last night Have had a good amount of rain and the water tank is overflowing. Had a forum member visit yesterday The weeds that we sprayed are starting to wilt only missed a few so thats ok. Off to the city tomorrow to start the rounds of specialist check ups again. Have to get to the block soon to spray the weeds that are surely there. fruit trees are in bloom so hopefully that means lots of fruit. Goodnight everyone x goodnight dapope x

Family invasion for both our birthdays, went off well. I am now so stuffed that bed is the only place that I am fit to be.
