Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Probably more money in feed than in the grain at the moment. Met a young woman who had changed from cropping grain to growing and maintaining grass seed crops for a major seed mob. They supplied the seed, advised when to spray and supplied the chemicals and told them when to harvest. She told me they got paid if the crop was a success or a total failure, a guaranteed income that averaged out far better than they had made over the 10 yr prior cropping off their own back, and no bank on their back to meet loan repayments when they were broke or haggling for a new loan or extension on the existing loan, yet had all the primary producer tax benefits. I often wonder why there aren't more commercial enterprises doing the same thing with the farmers, that way a corporation with the big money behind them does the heavy lifting and lets the farmer have a less stressed life.

Good morning all. Glad to see you up to "barking"!Bernie. Will look good.Off to Elimbar for the day to the Son's place- probably doing bits & pieces as he & partner have reduced 2 homes to one at last. Yesterday gave a couple of our Grevilleas an annual 1/3 reduction which they love.
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.
