Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Terry are you giving out the hints that you will have to do things by touch??? should I get brail dots on those parts that you like to grab? Just getting prepared just in case. ;) but you will be ok. Maybe we should start a special club for you, HTFFBO aka Helen, Brian, Tanks, Peter and who ever else having eye probs and you could have special stick with ball on the end. brail lessons in a group.

T1,
Sorry to hear your news. I had a similar scare a year or so ago. Turned out it was cataracts growing on my corneal implants from cataract surgery 15 years ago! Ten minutes of the opthalmologist zapping them with a laser, playing arcade-like shoot-em-up games  in my eyes, and the prob was gone.
Sounds like yours is far more serious. It will probably spell the end of your driving licence, too. Bummer.

Dottie,
Have you checked with your vet? You may have Kennel Cough. 8-) :P
... and I thought you already had Braille dots there! :o
Regards & God bless,
Ray

 First you started out with the braille idea and then added that on the end ....... and when did I ever grab any of your parts, braille coded or not? Or are you gunna get braille added to your shoulders so I know where to put my arms for a cuddle?
I was thinking about the whole ear whisper thing, just my luck I'll get another whisper and I won't be able to see who it was and which way they went  I guess if I can't actually see who it was my imagination can run wild, so not all bad eh  If it sent me blind from practicing the art as a kid, maybe I should take it up again, can't get any worse eh  and I won't have worry now if someone catches me, I won't know unless they call out :o

I'm wondering about which bits Dottie was going to get the braille implants now  Might be that ultimate Christmas gift for George so he can find the chosen areas after the lights go out. Could even catch on for those who want a bit more from the husband .... or the ultimate party trick to have stick on patches for grannie or that madden aunt for the New Yrs party and turn the lights out at midnight  8-)

Memories Ray? Is the change hands to trick you into thinking you have a new partner joining in  If I started counting it might be like the sheep thing, (settle Norman, you know what they said about getting over excited) by the time I've counted to 10 I've gone to sleep, then I'd wake up half an hr later and wonder if I'd enjoyed it :? One of the Google tips was to get more exercise, if I can't see then chasing Dottie looking/feeling for braille bumps will be out of the question, but I doubt that was the sort of exercise they meant ..... it wasn't actually weight lifting when I was a young fella after all

Terry it is usual to have around 3 months wait to get into Hills Eye Centre.
If you are prepared to go to Adelaide you may get in earlier.
Good luck with it & sorry to hear of your dilemma. I'll catch up soon to have a chat.

Seems the eye mob in Murray Bridge sent the photos and stuff to the Mt Barker mob and they said "should be ok for the few weeks it would take to get an appointment". Hmmm...... many phone calls later, Margaret found an appointment for Monday at the Harley eye mob in Adelaide.
Now to see if it is needles in the eye or what needs to be done to sort it before it gets beyond the fixable stage. T1 Lithium might still be a goer yet, or at least I can sort of guide Margaret or another employee on just what has to be done in the bits that are too fiddly for me to see now.
Trying to thread the 26 cables through the cable gland was a bit like trying to put the cotton in the sewing needle a few weeks ago, quite comical really ......

No, just what I used to overhear in the change sheds on high school sports days. 😜

ps. Dunno about Margaret’s machine, but SWMBO’s sewing machine has an automatic self-threading gadget on the needle mount. Just lay the thread across it, pull the gizmo back & let it spring back.
Taraaa! Needle threaded. 👍

Maybe you should buy Margaret a Special Christmas Present??
Unfortunately that would help her, but would not do much to help you with your cables...
