Australian Trivia Only

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

David,
It's not in Miles, either. But at least you're in the right state -- the one worst affected by Prickly Pear.
Here is the monument. No-one has yet named the town where I found it.
(Note: I have covered parts of the monument which identify the town.)

Bruce,
I don't remember it snowing when I was there... :P

Ray ... it isn't snow ... I think it's called "Chucky fallout". (takes a while to clear!)
If I spell something like Dalby, is it pronounce Dolby or Dalby?
Did I win?

Yes, Bruce, you win. It's in Dalby.
And the locals pronounce it "DOLL-by".
I was taught very early in my career that the correct pronunciation of town names is the way the locals pronounce it.

Gets a bit confusing in Goondiwindi.
We've heard locals say "GOON-dy-windy" and "GUNN-da-windy"..!
So I guess there, you takes your pick — and your chances that you'll offend some locals either way.

Sorry Macca .... not the answer I'm looking for.
Try Belt Bay and the Madigan Gulf in Lake Eyre North.
