Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Came home earlier due to the heat and have given all the lawn and fruit trees a good soaking ready for this coming week. Tomorrow I head to the city for check up with the tongue man then to the dental hosp to see if they have had success with making a special lower plate then to my physio mate to pick up some jam she makes for her foundation and by then we shall be totally buggered from the heat. But Friday also in the city on the hottest day expected just to see the face of the rockspider when hopefully he is denied leave to appeal his conviction. Tuesday George sees the dentist about his broken off front tooth  He looks like an ice addict.  So time to hit the sheets so goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks & Mr Major x :D Stay safe and remember to keep fluid intake up NOT BOOZE.

Good luck with all the quack visits Dot. Worth the drive on Friday I reckon, I would be there too xxxx

Ray, didn't need to smell the pud to get a good sleep, I had the last bit that was left in the bottle hic. Bloomin good drop that was. I bought another flagon of it a few weeks ago when I was buying one for our son for Christmas. My flagon won't be opened until next Christmas, for the pudding again. I like it to have some extra time to really mellow out.

Had our neighbourhood Christmas party today and it went really well. Many of these people we may wave to as we drive around, but nobody has time to stop and chat, so we all enjoy the time to have a drink together and catch up on what has been going on during the year. I wont need the pudding to help me sleep tonight!

goodnight all xxx

:? A likely story! ;)
Betcha bought a straw with the flagon!! :P By next Christmas, you'll be really "mellowed out" and need to go out for another flagon. 8-)

Good to hear people still have neighbourhood parties... had some good ones in Melb. Only time we actually exchanged more than a wave with some local residents.

Hafta look at that for next year here. Been here six years now. Know both our immediate neighbours, and people from further away in town... but the people three doors down are strangers. Must fix that.

Great day in the big smoke Dot. Hope you can enjoy some real food soon xxxx

Ray, it's easy to not open it until I need it for the cooking. That way it does stay untouched. Once opened...that's another story. The neighbourhood get together is easily done. I decide the date (cause I do the organising) I print out the invites, almost exactly the same as last years, deliver them to 40 letterboxes and we meet at the local park. Lousy weather is almost instant cancellation, but has only happened once, in 10 years.

Had a crazy lair day today. Sister rang and announced that she is coming to stay today until we are leaving on Friday. So I rushed around clearing all the hidden parcels out of her room and cleaning it a bit. Then the parcels had to be sorted into the recipients santa sacks. Good thing that I did that. A couple of spots that need filling, so will be doing some strange shopping tomorrow. Give me a way to get sister out of the house and off my lounge. I get depressed when she visits as I feel so stifled. So I am taking the lead and making her be useful (sort of) and I may actually have myself organised before we leave home on Friday for Christmas with our kids and grandkids.

Keep on keeping on you lot, sweet dreams xxx
Deborah

Give her the shitty household chores, like cleaning the toilets, picking up after the pooch, etc.

Deborah if your sister is a PITA just do your thing and leave her to do what ever she does. Your home so just let her know that. You are a busy bee aren't you ? Dam hot ain't it? G goes back to dentist Thursday for her to finish the job of building up the remaining tooth, the root of the tooth is still healthy so this way was the best. While there I got a huge bear hug from my dentist and into his room I went. I always drop in to show him my progress so with my new lower fangs he was interested to see them as the material is new, out they came with great effort and he noticed a bit of redness on my gum so he did a quick shave of the plate, then to put it back in not easy at all. After a few hrs I had to take it out, it feels tight and gets a bit sore but guess that is the norm. The computer is going to the comp doctor on Thursday I reckon it is constipated. Going to use our tank water to water the lawn and trees as e still have heaps of water and want to have it cleaned out ready for winter . The tank is approx. 2.5 mts x 6-7 mts and we have only used about 2 ft from the top. It is used for washing, dishwasher and showers . Time to get to the shower so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bernie x :D

Sounds like you maybe have a tiny high spot that could be helped better by the guy who made the fangs for you Dot. Is it possible to ring him and ask about tightness and sore spot? I did a lot of dental assisting in my youth and it was common way back then for the plates to need personalising because mouths change quickly and between first and last visit the shape needed may be slightly different. Hope this helps you Dotty. xxxx

Sister is making it known that she is suffering from a bad back ache, so can't do any chores. That's fine, she is heading off on Friday to spend 5 weeks in a tent. She may have a great back when she returns or maybe not. :D We did our shopping for most things today and tomorrow we will finish it off at the hammer shop. That's a special treat for me, but the presents I am meant to buying are not intended for my shed. Luckily the kids often give me bunnings cards as presents, they understand my little desires for different tools.

Sleepyhead time now, so nighty night xxx

One more nasty day down. I'm staying home tomorrow to keep the birds cool, are those misting fans any good??? Put 6 more water bowls out for the wild birds they love it. G is off to the dentist for phase 2 of his tooth repair saga. Had my fancy tooth thing in for 4 hrs today it got too uncomfortable for any longer. It is a real work of art to get them in and out but I shall persevere till I see the dental clinic again. Bed time now so goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight RossP x :D
