Good morning to you all in this smokey land of ours. Taking 3 of our teenage daughters to GC to-day to see our eldest granddaughter who is at Uni down there. She is not going home to Narrabri for Christmas but decided to stay at GC and get all the work she can. Doing a double shift Christmas Eve & Boxing day at the Southport Surf Club. We told them they could take us out for our 52 years but I bet I know who will end up shouting for them for lunch! Such is life.
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.

Morning Kay looks like another fun day ahead..
Just got word thru the night my nephew ( brothers son ) and family are safe in the Gosper mountain fire , that was a worry of our minds .
Still waiting for word on some other relies down there .

Temp got to 40 yesterday ...

"tanks" here---Bob,
the "Matron" (Super-nurse or whatever the title is now days), from the hospital has invited me to join the staff for xmas lunch at the hospital. Another outing this month, and two trips to IGA, it feels like I am never home.

It was around this time last year that I was having very bad breathing problems and occupied a bed in the hospital. The Matron allowed Mr. Russell to stay in my room with me for a few days.
Mr. Russell also took crook, and the Vet came down from Moranbah and gave him the Green Dream. This xmas is turning out a lot better.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Keith they at the DON now-Director of Nursing. One can never tell if they are trainee nurses, trainee enrolled nurses, trainee assistant nurse, trained registered nurse or a domestic!

Good morning on this Christmas Day. I got damp walking yesterday morning- damp not wet. See what happens today. our trip to the GC yesterday with 3 teenage granddaughters in the back seat was not as noisy as expected. We went to inspect our eldest granddaughters until then to lunch at an outdoor restaurant overlooking the water. Haha. Three with licences were complaining about the cost of petrol and no money- they are entering the real world. Anyway all in all a lovely day.

Good morning everyone!
Warming up again. Poor firies didn't get much relief before it turned hot again?
Bernie I'm in a pickle!! Pump out truck has broken down so can't use the 4 dunnies!!!
Will I look funny hanging 'it' over the fence?
It's OK 'cause yesty I cut a hole in the middle of the lounge room floor so I can dip the fuel tank!
Someone is NOT impressed!!!
