Forecast to reach 44° here... which means 48° at our place. :shock: With winds of 50km/h!
Today's Age sitrep on the fires puts Rutherglen within range of ember attack.
We're packed & ready to bolt the moment we see flames. :?

48.5 the max here today,on the verandah in the shade! Now at 7pm the NE is picking up but it is still 43 and the wind even from the NE is hot!

26 here at the moment with a good breeze. House open to freshen it up. Forecast top of 18 tomorrow with up to 10 mm rain. Believe it when I see it.

Morning all 18 again this am 38 yesty got the eldest grandson and his tribe arriving today ( there goes my piece and quite for a few days) three little ones.
