Re: Happy Birthday David!
So another step closer to that govt contract where they send you money for being old?
They keep moving the goal posts on my old blokes pension, thought I was gunna get it in June, then for next Christmas, now 2 birthdays away .... I won't be able to read the good news by the time they decide I'm a suitable vintage, probably get the Queens telegram before then
Hope it's a great day for you, how is the cripple injury going? Still slowing you down enough to give Terrie a bit of a break

Re: Happy Birthday David!
Thanks for all the good wishes folks. We had an eventful day yesterday. Went out for breakfast with the family and as Terrie's folks are staying with us for a while (both mid 80's) nothing happens quickly. When it came time for lunch there was a medical emergency so no lunch for me. Just a sandwich for the olds as they can't not have food at lunch time apparently. So instead of all that we had a lovely evening at the Steakhouse. And we all ate half a cow. At least, it seemed like that. Of course I drank too much so that is why I am a bit slow out of the blocks this morning.
I haven't been to Mr Centrelink yet, but I spoke to a mate yesterday that had recently attempted to get some real time advice from them. He clued me up to all the paperwork that he says that I should take with me just to get the conversation started. That might not happen for a while yet as we are heading south at the end of next week.

Dot, I just figured out what that pic was. The old Coaster covered up with shadecloth at Nanango. That was a while ago now. You should see the tailor made shade screen the we made for the Winny. It almost looks professional.

enjoying the rain.

enjoying the rain.
Keith
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Thanks Keith. I hope that rain does some good for the area. It was looking all that good when we were up near Charters Towers late last year.
Cheers
