Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

David what do you do when you wake up at 3am? Just askin :)
Dot, I do pretty much the same every night/morning. Exercise the calf muscles to make the cramp go away. Which is why I wake up anyway.
Then have a squiz at forums and FB, and see what the family has posted overnight as I think they have all lost my phone number. Then either get up and go for a walk or try to go back to sleep. If I am lucky enough to get 4 hrs unbroken sleep it is a bonus. Been like that for a few years now. The vet can't find any valid reason medically, and I am used to it now. Have been awake at 5.00 or so for most of my life anyway, so it doesn't really make much difference.

Dave, I suffered from the same and now take Coles Magnesium Plus which almost eliminates the cramping.

George, I having been taking magnesium tablets for years. Most of my problems stem from having reaction to the sulphites in red wine. And potatoes for s one reason. And salt. Too much and the heart rate goes nuts.Don't bother suggesting to stop drinking. It won't work. And drinking too much beer just makes me fat. My GP doesn't consider 2 glasses per day excessive.
Good night everyone.
Cheers

The only medication for severe cramps is Quinate, Bruce takes at least one Magnesium tablet sometimes 2 a day, he takes the Quinate a few days a week, Drs., don't like prescribing same.
Tonic water is suppose to be good to drink for it.
Goodnight everyone.

Are you sure you are not prego David? they used to prescribe quinine for really bad calf cramps. Poor Mr Bandit being so cold give him a hug from me please. Well it has been one week now since first contact with the immigration people wee going to ring by the end of the day and still no reply. They give you 30 days to get all your info up together yet they treat you like a piece of nothing. Off to the city again tomorrow morning for dental clinic then to pick up my new glasses then home and into he bus and off to the block for a few days. How was Richie Porte on the TDU today? hope he wins this race. You also get to see the damage the fires have done . Time to say goodnight everyone x :) Goodnight Shirley x :) Dam grunting women playing tennis ,, hate the women playing.

Hey Dot, stay on top of those immigration peoples, they need you to nag them and dont sit back waiting for them to ring. Have a great time at the block xxx
David, you may find some help with drinking an extra glass of water at night. I take magnesium for cramps, but when the weather is as hot and sweaty, unless I have that extra drink, the cramps wake me severely.

Sorry some of you are freezing, but we have had 40 degrees for most of the day, with the coast being hit by a mini cyclone tonight. We only got the edge of it, most damage was done at the Southern end of the coast,so we are ok. We watched the house boat out front have a lot of rock n rolling for about and hour, but that was the most action that we saw.

sweet dreams out there xxx

The fellows are definitely better to watch playing tennis Dot, what about Nick's meltdown last night? Thought he had totally lost it, glad he was able to get it all together again, think Lleyton is a calming influence.
Agree with Deborah extremely hot day, lucky I didn't go to bowls, Bruce had Dr's appointment for treatment, we also received tail end of storm around 10pm, thunder, lightning & a little rain didn't last long.
