"tanks"---here
I have an almost new EPERB for sale now that I am not on the road any more.
I purchased it for the trip from WA to Dysart Qld, and it is transferable to another owner.
All you have to do is register it with your name and details. Full instructions go with the unit.
IKf you are interested, I will look up the price I paid and we can come to some arrangement/negotiation.
It has all of the "gear" with it. I will p/m you my mobile phone number if you want to talk about it.
Keith.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

"tanks" here---Deborah,
What ever you do make sure the unit is AUSTRALIAN CODED. The N.Z. Code units will not function in Australia.
You should look for a unit that has dual frequencies; i.e: 406mHz for sending the signal to the satellite , and frequency 121.54mHz as the HOMING Signal. The SA2G PLB has 66 channels and updates every 5 minutes to an accuracy within 5 meters of where you are, then directs the search plane (car whatever) to you by that frequency. The unit has GPS and a Strobe Light to attract attention/identify your location for aerial search.
The Kti Model SA2G PLB is the way to go.
Ebay prices vary from around $260 plus, some sellers offer post free, and some plus post.
You can check out the basics on www.AMSA.gov.au/beacons
The unit I have has a hard cover/belt pouch, a shoulder/neck strap, and a signal mirror.
The later models only have a soft Velcro type cover.
PETROL SPY is only for outlets in the Capitol Cities and does not cover rural towns.
You are best to use the FUEL WATCH sites, or the RAC listings. Cary a Post Code booklet available free from the local Post Office--=it will come in handy.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Thanks Keith, I read your pm before coming here, it makes a bit more sense now! Luckily we had been given pretty much the same advice, so that seems like the one that we have already paid for. Never mind, I hope you find a suitable buyer soon.
Dot, are you hiding in a brick pit somewhere or getting over taking HTFFO op shopping? xxxx
Had 3 inches of rain today and there is more to fall. What a PITA. One week it's 40 degree plus days and now we're getting flooded out. Oh well, it is never boring.
Stay safe on the roads
sleep well xxx

Some words are banned and you get that message, the little blue pills with name starting with V is one but I'm sure there are others

Dot, I am surprised that you and your pussy haven't had that notice before this

Another wet n windy day at the lair. I fired up the kiln to bend a pretty bowl into shape, finished finding the spare room and putting stuff into usable order. Then cooked up a fancy chops in red wine sauce for dinner. So all up a quiet, yet busy day.
