Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Old Macs Farm is one of the best low cost camps in Tassie but not having a small vehicle for day trips will be a bit of an issue.

We even stored our van there when we flew to Melbourne for 5 nights over Xmas. Was only $10pn then. Left the Cruiser in the long term car park at Launceston airport.

Some of those Launceston hills are a challenge for large vehicles.

Leslie, you are spot on. One of the hilly winding roads the navigator had me on this morning was challenging. But it was raining.
As I said earlier SWMBO has started to regret not bringing the little car. But that is one of life's little learning curves isn't it.
Cheers

Absolutely Dave. I was amazed by some of the routes our navigator sent us on in Launceston. I was very pleased the van was safely parked at Old Macs and we were “just” in the Cruiser.

We found a paid car park in semi-central Launie where we could park the LC and not have to hike miles to where we wanted to go.
Cheers

Good morning all. a much cooler walk this morning after the "storm" last night. A bit of hail and a few drops- on the northern edge of the shocker which hit Lota and southern Manly.
Bernie hope not relevant to your friend but just heard on 6am news on radio a man found in the Mary river at Maryborough. Fingers crossed.
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.

Yes, I have seen the news and it’s on Facebook too. I hope he is found safe and well. I guess I would be described as “elderly” too! [emoji3525]

We stayed at Old Mac too.

Then rang a taxi to pick us up and drop us off.
