Replacing Steam Iron...

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Replacing Steam Iron...

Post by Chuck »

The current - no pun intended - iron is around 12-15 years old & ready to kark it anytime soon - so, we have been scanning the pooter for new suggestions, but... not too convinced that a lot of them may not be up to scratch.

Therefore, anyone prepared to make serious suggestions as to brand/model they may have first hand knowledge of.

All input would be appreciated.

I think steam irons have been replaced by the electric iron these days!

In the one post you did say serious suggestions as well as 'any input'. :D

Hi Chuck I have been using a Kambrook for a few years now happy with , have had quite a few different brands over the years . If I needed a new one my first priority would be a comfortable handle these day any cheap one would do me , think I am nearly cured of ironing lol

"tanks" here---
Don't let ironing kill your wife, do it by electricity.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Have not done any ironing for years, waste of electricity, money and bad for the environment and my health.

Having said that if buying again I would just buy from Aldi for the warranty and ease of returning.

No 12 year old should be doing your ironing.
