Re: Good morning daily
Good morning to you all with the hope that you are all well and not experiencing what we did yesterday when we went to vote. About 50 with the same idea. This woman turned around from getting her name checked & let out a cough with NOTHING covering her mouth. I asked her please to cover her mouth, holding back my anger. She then voted and walking out did the same again. I was not nice this time!
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.

Re: Good morning daily
Thanks Keith.
Just an update on dog minding.
Three weeks up next Monday, owner [Lance] still in England. If he catchs a flight out [supposed to go to USA] to home, lands Melbourne, Is he allowed to catch a flight to Adelaide ? Then do his 14 days self isolation or does he have to do it in Melbourne ?
Did you all have pancakes last night ? [Shrove Tuesday]
Cheers

The self isolation commences at the end of his travel destination, so he is permitted to fly to Adelaide and then to his residence to commence his 14 days isolation, that is if he is not having any symptoms, and has not picked up anything on the way home. The same applies to Doone, who is in USA at present having a holiday.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Re: Good morning daily
We just voted today via the Qld Electoral Commission phone line. If we were self isolating then it was OK, but if we were just telling porkies because it was too late to get a postal vote then, tough titties as Dot would say. So, we are currently self isolating.Macca wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 9:09 am Good morning to you all with the hope that you are all well and not experiencing what we did yesterday when we went to vote. So, if you are a Qld resident and are travelling, and you are req'd to vote, do the right thing and self isolate, then you can vote.
At least you won't have to put up with ignorant grubs that cough all over everyone!
Cheers

Still waiting to receive our postal votes at Terry and Margaret’s PO Box. Registered before we left home and they said should have them by the end of last week. [emoji3525]

Re: Good morning daily
It is currently 19deg here in downtown Mulwala NSW. We are heading for a high of 30 today with no rain on the horizon. Might have to go drown some worms this arvo.
We are at Terries folks place still, have been doing a bit of yard work as the oldies are well into their 80's and have been banned from ladders etc for years.
It's still dark here, but Bandit is going for a walk, whether he needs one or not.
Bernie, we tried to get the postal vote, but applications were closed by the time we found out the elections were on.
