Re: Good morning daily
Happy Easter everyone. Went for a walk around the yard to see if the Easter bunny had been, nothing at home, a quick look in the workshop yard just now and there are a few things left laying around, but I think it might be from the customers
's dog rather than the Easter Bunny.
Another rather ordinary looking day here in Upper Mannum, if it doesn't rain it will be good weather for fitting up the solar panels. The rain does usually amount to anything more than a nuisance, but it does make it tricky to get a clean dry surface for the glue

Stay well and safe every body while the few of us left still working add a few $$ to govt purse ..... winder when they are going to announce the pay cut they are all taking

Re: Good morning daily
Two unexpected easter eggs this morning. Nice & fresh.
We have 3 chooks here in Mutchilba. Rodney the Rooster, Hettie the hen, & Missie the feral bantam hen. Until Good Friday Missie had roosted high in a tree near to the chook pen, but over a couple of weeks MrsTea has enticed her bit by bit to visit the chook pen. On Good Friday she joined the others when they returned at dusk from their daily afternoon outing. MrsTea, watching from a distance with binoculars witnessed this event, & quick as you like reached the gate to slam it shut before Missie was aware. This morning two eggs, first have had since arriving (other than shop bought). Easter Eggs.
Now to keep the 3 shut in for a while until Missie becomes used to her new place of residence. I reckon 2 weeks, but MrsTea who is our chook 'expert' will not commit to a timeframe, she reckons she can 'read' chooks well enough to decide when to let them out again.

Assuming both eggs are from Missie (hard to tell, she is quite big for a bantam) we suspect there may be a large stash of previously laid eggs somewhere close by - not sure I'd be keen on eating them though.
EDIT: Ha ha ha ha - just went to take a pic of the 3 of them to share with you all & found only 2. Missie should be re-named 'Houdini' methinks. Have put the expert back on the job!
