Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

:tanks: here---
does that read "at" ICU, or am I reading "in" ICU meaning you are a patient there. ?
Concerned---
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Morning all have not looked outside so no weather report. Bernie trust you are out soon mate.

Was not feeling the best yesterday so went the the hospital to get tested for the virus as I fall in the high risk area like most of us.
Will have to wait till Monday for the results so again it is stay at home. No problems as plenty to do at home.

Take care all and enjoy your day. Robert

If so, MrsTea began suffering with this out of the blue a few months ago.Googling found some easy exercises to do - Brandt- Daroff (google it). For many people vertigo is caused by small changes to fluid in the inner ear. These exercises train the brain to adapt, & work quite quickly. MrsTea did them 3 times a day for 3 or 4 days, the vertigo stopped, & hasn't returned.

Edit I see on the sheet below it says the cause of vertigo is a build up of some sort of crystals in the inner ear fluid, & these exercises break up the crystals. Either way we found the exercises to have been very effective. Saved a visit to a doctor.

If anyone tries these exercises, they can't do any harm, but if they don't work go see a Doctor, as there are other causes of vertigo. If you go to see the doctor, without having tried these exercises, chances are high that they will send you home to try them in the first instance.

Reckon Cuppa's post re exercise would be spot on Bernie if it was vertigo, after I feinted when gutter high on the ladder & fell to the ground, splitting my head open on the pavers & spending a week in hospital, I was troubled with giddiness, Dr sent me to physio at hospital, told I had upsets the rocks in my head, she had me lay on my back hanging my head left, right & backwoods, after about half hour session asked me had I taken a stemitel tablet for nausea, when I answered no, told me that I would probably vomit enroute home ( which came true ) & to keep my head erect as long as possible, which I did till about midnight, I was amazed it cured my giddiness just the one session, she did tell me to return if I needed more help.
Pleased that you are home & hope you are feeling ok.
Shirley & Bruce.
