Re: Newcastle George
What hospital were you in George? sounds like the dog shelter vets. Out so soon wow. The dry mouth stuff I have is Oral 7 plus the Oral 7 tooth paste which is also has a moisturising effect , The toothpaste is a non frothing type and you don't need so much, but I will always have a dry mouth. My specialist told me to suck lemon lollies to stimulate the salivary glands so give that a try. Can't believe you have been discharged so soon. Gently put a wrapped up ice pack on your face wound but only for a few minutes at a time. Hope you get relief soon.
Queen of the Banal & OT chatter and proud of it. If it offends you then tough titty titty bang bang.

Re: Newcastle George
Wow, sounds painful George, hope you're feeling a little better this evening, they usually give you small ice cubes to suck for dry mouth after surgery, or that's what has happened with Bruce.
Took your advice been taking the tablets one a day this week & the dermatitis is improving I think, time will tell.

All the best for a speedy recovery George. How do the ribs feel?
Or does the pain in your jaw make you forget the ribs?

Re: Newcastle George
Hey, George,
Where can I buy some of that mouth-glue gel???
Not sayin' I'd want to use it on anyone...
... but does it make coffee taste funny???
Doesn't look like the Drs took the opportunity to make some improvements to your mug. I guess they figured there's no hope in that direction.
Anyway, we hope you're feeling a whole lot better soon.
(
Not sure I could handle a visit from a handsomer George, anyway...
)

Re: Newcastle George
George, you don't look so good at the moment, but you are still here to have a laugh with us. You may be thankful that they sent you home to a comfortable bed and your own pillow. Obviously Julie would not be as nasty as to give you stuff to keep your mouth shut! Nasty nurse, should have a kick in the ribs for being so cruel. Take care mate, the worst is over now. xxx
