Another egg this morning, that's 3 from Missie now. 22.7 deg here at the mo, but the cooling breeze has required more than a sarong to sit out on the veranda for brekky. Daytime max temps are slowly dropping. 26 deg forecast today - if correct it'll be our lowest yet. Irrigation channel to be shut down & emptied for maintenance sometime today, for 5 days. We use this for cattle water, our showers & the dunny & the veggies. Cattle should have enough for the duration of the shutdown in a waterhole which is filled from a leak in the channel, & we have rainwater in tanks for drinking etc. Buckets for the veggies & dunny. We could have cold washes outside from a tap off a rainwater tank but may utilise the 240v function of the HWS in the Patrol if we are too woosie.

No more cases reported of Covid in NSW in the last 24 hrs, good news.
