Wendy where exactly is this weir please. Sounds a good spot for us for a night before we get to Whitfield for Easter.

Hi Macca,

You wont be disappointed, I have done some extensive POI on my google maps of the hole area below.
If you need help using google maps, yell out via private messages and I'll help....its fantastic!
Albury = http://goo.gl/maps/C1iu
Wodonga = http://goo.gl/maps/mMJJ
District = http://goo.gl/maps/BSDP
The Hume Weir is huge, dont miss looking at the Bethanga Bridge and the Weir wall, Ludlows is a gorgeous place but be aware that it is well used particullarly Easter. but if you get there just a day prior to Public Hols you'll be right. There are heaps of places to get down to the weir waters all around but nothing is officially Camp Spots. There are some gravel pile areas off the road, one just over Bethanga Bridge on the Vic side turn left just off bridge. There are the Pines under the "pine trees" just before the Bethanga Bridge on the nsw side too, toilets tables but alas no camping.
It's a great area, but Albury Wodonga are slooooow to get on the Free Camp mind set...........
Hume Weir is on the NSW/VIC Border 15 minutes from Albury Wodonga. Murray River catchment.

We circled the HUme in 2008 & stopped at a couple over night, one being Jingelick pub.
