Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. We only got down to 13 overnight. Probably the same as the southern up to temperature. :D
The forecast is for high winds again today, but it hasn't been too bad, so far. My mission today is to pressure wash enough of the house so Terrie can start to prime/seal it before we paint the bricks. I dunno what she will come up with when we run out of things to paint. I just want to finish the Winny and bugger off before we all get corona. Enjoy your shopping Bernie. Safe travels everyone.
Cheers
David

Dave, I thought the idea of building with bricks was to avoid having to paint. :)

Good morning all.

George, possibly you have missed the trend that started about 15 years or so ago to render or paint an older brick house. It is supposed to increase resale value. I know that it will keep us busy for a while. SWMBO will be busy while I get the Winny back together. Win - win i reckon.

Dave, painting needs repainting and repainting forever. I'm glad I missed out on the trend.

David,
Wot George said...
My father used to repaint our entire house exterior every three years. Whether it looked like it needed it or not. :?
I vowed never to chain myself to a paintbrush like that!
Always brick, and only the timber window frames need a paintbrush attack... for which I now pay someone younger than me. ;)
I have enough trouble keeping clear wood stain on our timber outside seats.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Good morning everybody, its 9deg here just now and that wind the man said was coming finally arrived overnight. So we are off on the creek walk this morning. Might see some Tawny Frogmouths if we are lucky. Its a good day for a sleep in if you arent up yet. Helen are you still at Southport?
