Unable to open emails to read

Unable to open emails to read
In the inbox it won't let me open any emails.. It says "This item cannot be displayed in the reading pane. Open the item to read it's contents". The screen is blue if that is of any help.... I can do the forum ok..

What happens if you double click on it Dot?
Is it from someone you know?
Is it in Outlook Express?
